The Fall Symposium at UVA in the McCue Center football team meeting room, will feature:

7:30-8:20      Registration with Donuts and Coffee provided by LUCKSTONE

8:25-8:30       President Mike Selton with opening remarks and introduction of Dr. Ervin

8:30-9:30       Dr Ervin, What Exactly Is In This Jug Of Snake Oil and How Can It Help My Field? 

9:30-10:30     Tom Serensitis, Industry Research on Surface Hardness Testing

10:30-10:45  break

10:45-11:45 Jack Higgins, Carbon Based Fertility

11:45-12:30  Turf Genius Round Table - Goatley, Richard Kent (UVa professor studying NFL player safety) , Askew, Mcall

Directions to the Symposium Event - McCue Center

From East or West on I 64 take exit 118B for the Route 29/250 Bypass. Go approximately 2.5 miles and take the off ramp for Leonard Sandridge Road.  Go through two traffic lights and then turn left into the John Paul Jones Basketball Arena parking lot.  The meeting is taking place across the street in the McCue Building. Ushers will direct you.  No parking pass required for this lot ONLY.  Do not park in the University Hall lot or you will be ticketed.

From North travel south on Route 29 until this becomes Emmet Street.  Turn Right onto Massie Road immediately after Barricks Road Shopping center.  Take first right turn into John Paul Jones Basketball Arena parking lot.  The meeting is taking place across the street in the McCue Building.  Ushers will direct you.  No parking pass required for this lot ONLY.  Do not park in the University Hall lot or you will be ticketed.
